Laboratory-Scale Tri-Color BCF Yarn Sample Machine

Developing new BCF (Bulked Continuous Filament) yarn products — for carpet, rug, artificial turf, and technical textile applications — requires extensive experimentation with different color combinations, polymers, and yarn structures before transitioning to full-scale industrial production. However, conventional continuous BCF production lines are not designed for frequent trials, small-batch sampling, or multi-color development, making product development both costly and time-consuming.

Our laboratory-scale, tri-extruder BCF yarn sample machine provides an efficient and flexible solution for research and development, product testing, and process optimization. Featuring three independent extruders capable of simultaneous processing of three different colors, the system is carefully engineered to replicate the operating conditions of real industrial BCF production lines, enabling rapid multi-color sampling, precise material evaluation, and reliable process validation.

With this advanced platform, manufacturers can confidently develop new tri-color and multi-color BCF yarn structures, evaluate polymer and masterbatch formulations across independent extrusion lines, and optimize production parameters — all before committing to full-scale industrial manufacturing. Cam Roll Mixing

The cam roll mixing system blends the three colored filament streams with adjustable ratio and pattern control, faithfully simulating the color-mixing outcome of a full-scale production line — so the exact visual effect can be validated at sample scale before scaling up.

Color Pop Compact

The CPC unit compacts the three individually colored filament bundles in a controlled manner to produce sharply separated, distinct color sections along the yarn — replicating the same color-pop effect achieved on full-scale industrial BCF lines for accurate lab-scale validation.
